Michael Wubbena - Senior Spotlight

Full Name: Michael Jeffrey Wubbena

1.  What are your plans after high school (college, work force, future profession)?

I will go to Kishwaukee College for 2 years and earn my bachelor’s degree. I will transfer to a university to finish up my remaining 2 years and earn my degree in teaching.

2.  What was the biggest change for you between your freshman and senior year?

I realized how important it is to do the best you can in your classes instead of procrastinating and just getting through the classes.

3.  Which class challenged you the most and why?

Pre-Calculus was definitely the most challenging class I took in high school. It dealt a lot with numbers and using everything I learned from freshman year and putting it all together.

4.  What person do you look up to the most and why?

Peyton Manning is the person I look up to the most. He’s my favorite football player and I followed him since he was on the Indianapolis Colts.

5.  What will you miss most about Forreston High School?

I will miss seeing my friends every day and having a routine to follow.

6.  What advice would you give incoming freshmen?

Even if you are not necessarily great in a class, you must always try your best.
