Classroom Spotlight for Week of November 7th - Mrs. Genandt, 4th Grade FGS

We have been learning about Earth and how it changes in Mrs. Genandt's Science class! We discussed how earthquakes happen, and how engineers can help to make building a little safer. We researched on our iPads, and then got to design our own earthquake resistant structures! Only we used toothpicks and marshmallows! We then got to put our structures to the test! They had to withstand a 15 second jell-o earthquake! We had so much fun completing this project! We can't wait to see what is next for us in Science and Social Studies!
