Afrdita Aliu - Senior Spotlight

September 26, 2016

Full Name:  Afrdita Aliu

1.  What are your plans after high school (college, work force, future profession)?

I plan to attend Highland for 2 years then transfer to a university. I hope to get my bachelor’s in nursing and work as an E.R. nurse.

2.  What was the biggest change for you between your freshman and senior year?

The biggest change for me between freshman and senior year has to be my personality. Freshman year I cared a lot about what people thought about me, but as the years went on, I loosened up and am more myself now.

3.  Which class challenged you the most and why?

Pre- Calc challenged me the most because I had to put a lot of thought into the problems and there were so many formulas to take into consideration. Although this class challenged me the most, I always got excited when I solved the problem.

4.  What person do you look up to the most and why?

I look up to my older sister, Bota, because she doesn't care what other people think about her. She is always doing something that makes her happy and is so loving and caring to the people around her.

5.  What will you miss most about Forreston High School?

I will miss all my friends and all my teachers. I will also miss the environment that everyone created at Forreston; everyone is so close and I know I count on anyone to help me when I need it.

6.  What advice would you give incoming freshmen?

My advice for the incoming freshmen is to not take these four years for granted because they do fly by. Also, don't let other people’s opinions dictate your choices, and enjoy high school!
