Contessa Farris - Senior Spotlight

Full Name:  Contessa Geneva Farris

1.  What are your plans after high school (college, work force, future profession)?
My plans after high school are to study medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Illinois State University, or the University of Illinois. My future profession goal is to become a high risk OB/GYN.

2.  What was the biggest change for you between your freshman and senior year?
I would have to say my group of friends. I have a much smaller group of friends that I can trust more so than what I did when I first became a freshman.

3.  Which class challenged you the most and why?

The class that has challenged me the most would be my math classes, especially Pre-Calculus. I have always struggled with mathematics, but I just have to have that extra little push to get me going in the right direction when it comes to the subject.

4.  What person do you look up to the most and why?

I have always looked up to my mother, Brandy Farris. She has always pushed me to better myself and she is constantly helping others. She has taught me many life lessons that I can actually use when I am older. I hope to someday be somewhat close to what kind of person she truly is.

5.  What will you miss most about Forreston High School?

The things I’ll miss the most will be the amazing teachers that have helped me get to where I am today and being able to be with my friends.

6.  What advice would you give incoming freshmen?

Make it last. Don’t try to make your four years go by any faster; believe me, your senior year will be here before you know it! Also, make good choices.  Don’t do anything that could potentially hurt your future.
